The founders of Il Fornaio have designed Canaletto to stand as the ideal Venetian ristorante. Executive Chef Maurizio Mazzon - a native of Venice - and Chef/Partner Gianpaolo Putzo have blended their expertise to unleash a gourmet fantasy at the intersection of The Venetian’s Grand Canal and St. Mark’s Square.

Menu highlights include an abundant selection of fresh seafood from Canaletto’s own "Mercato del Pesce," rotisserie and grill specialties, and a variety of risotto preparations and housemade pastas each day. A silver tray bearing traditional Venetian breads begins your meal and desserts created on the premises complete your Venetian culinary experience. The carefully selected wine list featuring little-known wines of Italy’s northeast includes a special section devoted to Prosecco, the Italian grape cultivated throughout the Veneto.

Canaletto offers guests a range of seating options, from “outside” dining on Piazza San Marco, to a more intimate formal dining room, or one of five private rooms upstairs that can accommodate groups as small as six or as large as sixty. Each private dining room has unparalleled views of the piazza and gondolas plying the Grand Canal.
